This is where Warehouse 1 really shines for single-day productions. Because we have eight different standing sets in one facility, you can shoot multiple locations without ever leaving the building. Think about what that means logistically. No company moves. No packing gear into trucks. No driving across Los Angeles during rush hour. No losing two hours of your day to transportation.
We’ve had music video directors shoot performance footage in the Alleyway in the morning, narrative scenes in the Living Room after lunch, and interview segments in the Office before wrap. That’s three completely different visual looks in one rental day. Try doing that with traditional location shooting in LA. You’d spend half your day in traffic.

Planning Your One-Day Shoot Here
Preparation is everything when you only have one day. We recommend sending us your shot list before you book so we can advise on timing. Some sets are faster to shoot than others. The Interrogation Room is compact and efficient. The Cafe/Bar has more angles and options, which means it can take longer if you’re not disciplined.
We also recommend blocking out your schedule in 90-minute increments. Give yourself time for setup, shooting, and a small buffer for the unexpected. If you finish a setup early, great. You bank that time for the next one. If something takes longer, you’re not already behind.
Crew size matters on a one-day shoot. A lean crew moves faster. If you have ten people standing around while the DP figures out the lighting, your day slips away. We see the most successful one-day shoots with four to six core crew members who know their roles and don’t need constant direction.

You confirm, you pay, and you’re locked in. No lengthy contracts. No deposit nightmares. No back-and-forth with a location manager who takes three days to respond.
On the day of the shoot, you arrive, load in through our ground-level access, and get to work. Our staff is around if you need technical help or have questions about the space. At wrap, you pack up, we do a quick walkthrough, and you’re done. We’ve had productions wrap and be on the freeway heading home within twenty minutes of their last take.
If your one-day shoot goes well and you need to come back for pickups or additional coverage, we prioritize returning clients. We know your workflow now. We know what you need. The second day is always smoother than the first.
