Iconic Office Filming Locations in Los Angeles

The city is home to some of the most iconic office buildings and interiors that have made significant contributions to the world of film and television.

Fox Plaza
Perhaps one of the most famous office buildings in cinematic history is Fox Plaza in Century City, immortalized as Nakatomi Plaza in Die Hard. This skyscraper’s sleek, modern design and towering presence provided the perfect backdrop for the film’s high-stakes action sequences. The building’s distinct look has made it a recognizable landmark in the action genre.

Bradbury Building
The Bradbury Building, located in downtown Los Angeles, is renowned for its unique architectural design featuring open cage elevators, marble staircases, and a beautiful atrium. It has been featured in numerous films, including Blade Runner, where it served as the eerie, dystopian home of J.F. Sebastian. Its vintage, almost otherworldly charm makes it a versatile location for various genres.

The Gas Company Tower
The Gas Company Tower, another downtown LA gem, was prominently featured in The Office as the Scranton Business Park. Its contemporary office interiors provided a realistic and relatable backdrop for the show’s hilarious and often poignant exploration of office life.

Los Angeles Center Studios
Los Angeles Center Studios has been a go-to for numerous productions requiring office settings. Shows like Mad Men used the facility to recreate the slick, mid-century modern offices of Sterling Cooper, capturing the sophisticated yet cutthroat world of 1960s advertising.

U.S. Bank Tower
The U.S. Bank Tower, one of LA’s tallest buildings, appeared in Independence Day. Its striking silhouette and panoramic views make it an ideal setting for portraying powerful corporate headquarters or high-stakes business environments.

Wilshire Grand Center
The Wilshire Grand Center has also played host to various productions, offering a mix of modern office spaces and luxurious interiors. Its state-of-the-art design makes it suitable for depicting contemporary corporate life.

At Warehouse 1 Productions, we understand the importance of selecting the right office filming locations to enhance storytelling. These iconic buildings not only provide visually stunning backdrops but also help convey the narrative’s underlying themes and character dynamics, making them indispensable to the world of film and television.
